End User License Agreement

Effective Date: March 21, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Hung Nguyen, operating as HForgeX ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of HForgeX Chrome browser extensions, including Screenshot & OCR, URL Editor, and any other extensions published under the HForgeX brand (collectively, the "Software").

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. Grant of License

1.1 Free Tier

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the free version of the Software on compatible Google Chrome browsers for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the terms of this Agreement.

1.2 Pro Tier

Upon purchase of a Pro license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Pro features of the Software, subject to the following conditions:

  • One-time purchase. The Pro license is acquired through a single payment. No recurring subscription is required.
  • Perpetual core access. Pro features available at the time of purchase remain usable indefinitely.
  • Update entitlement. Your purchase includes one (1) year of feature updates from the date of purchase. After this period, core Pro features continue to function, but new Pro features introduced after your update period may require a renewal.
  • Device limit. You may activate the Pro license on up to three (3) devices simultaneously. Device management is available through the License Portal.

2. License Key Ownership

Your license key is personal to you and is tied to your purchase. You may not sell, lease, lend, share, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your license key to any third party. Each license key is bound to a single purchaser and up to three (3) devices.

3. Activation & Verification

The Software uses an offline-first license verification system. After initial activation, Pro features work without an internet connection. The Software may perform periodic online status checks when a connection is available to verify license validity and detect revocation (e.g., following a refund).

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any license verification, activation, or feature-gating mechanisms.
  • Distribute, sublicense, or make the Software available to third parties as a standalone product.
  • Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Pro license, you may request a full refund within 30 days by contacting [email protected]. Upon issuance of a refund, your Pro license will be revoked, and Pro features will be deactivated at the next online verification check.

6. Updates & Maintenance

Chrome browser extensions are automatically updated through the Chrome Web Store. Your Pro license includes access to new Pro features released within one (1) year of your purchase date. After the update entitlement period expires:

  • All Pro features available at the end of the update period continue to function.
  • New Pro features released after the period may require a renewal purchase.
  • Bug fixes and security updates remain available to all users regardless of update status.

7. Renewal

After your one-year update entitlement period, you may optionally renew to extend access to new Pro features. Renewal is not required to continue using existing Pro features. Renewal pricing and availability will be communicated through the License Portal and our website.

8. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your license may be terminated if:

  • You request and receive a refund (automatic revocation).
  • You breach any term of this Agreement.
  • You engage in abuse, fraud, or circumvention of license enforcement mechanisms.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Pro features. The free tier remains available under its applicable terms. Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

9. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, design, documentation, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of HForgeX or its licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HFORGEX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRO LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13.2 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Perpetual License Terms, constitutes the entire agreement between you and HForgeX regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

13.3 Amendments

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Your continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
